RCC27 - Anything Goes

Hi!
I'm back today with a card that I have entered into the Ribbon Carousel challenge RCC27 -  Anything Goes.

I made this card for a friend and was wanting to use soft, pretty colours so I have slightly CASED Ashley Newell's card here. Here is my card:

I cut four different shades of pink card - Pink Pirouhette, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose and Rose Red and adhered them to a white panel. Following this, I used the flower image from Stampin Up's Saleabration set - Bliss and stamped this repeatedly over the panel in Versamark ink. This layer was then adhered to a Kraft mat and some Fresh Snow ribbon looped around the middle. I punched out my sentiment panel using my Curly Label Punch and then hand cut a slightly larger Kraft border. I stamped my sentiment from the Trendy Trees set in Melon Mambo ink and highlighted this with some pink rhinestones. Both pieces of card were then adhered to my Fresh Snow ribbon. Finally, all of these layers were adhered to my white base.

I will have to try this gradient look again, as I love the effect it creates!

Back soon with more!!

Sympathy card

Just a quick post to show a thinking of you card that I have made for a friend recently. I decided to keep this very simple and used one of the images from the Blooming Button Bits set from Papertrey Ink. I stamped this onto some Spring Rain cardstock in Versamark and then clear embossed it. I stamped the flower images from Beautiful Blooms 2 onto white cardstock and embossed them with white embossing powder before cutting them out. Silver rhinestones were added to the centres. I scallop edged my base and the bottom of the Spring Rain layer, tying a white ribbon just below the image. Finally I stamped my sentiment in Smokey Shadow ink using the Acacia set from AnnaBelle Stamps.

I stamped my sentiment on the inside again with Smokey Shadow ink with a sentiment form Ballerina Rose.

That's it - short and sweet! I will be back tomorrow with my card for Friday's CSAYL challenge and over the next couple of days will post my Colour Create card - missed the deadline this week, but determined to get it done!
