I have been spending the last week tweaking my blog to get it where I am happy with it and I thought I would post a couple of photos of cards I have made a while ago when getting a head start for Christmas. In this card I used an image from My Favorite Things called Pure Innocence - Presents For You.
I have stamped the image once on Kraft cardstock and die cut it with a Circle Nestability die.
The image has then been stamped again and popped it up with dimensionals and coloure with Copics. I have then stamped the snow using a small circle stamp from Papertrey Ink's Around and About Sentiments using Craft Whisper White Ink. I have also used Papertrey Ink's Background Basics Text Style Stamp with Perfect Plum ink on the scalloped layer. The Perfect Plum cardstock layer has been embossed using my Cuttlebug.
The next card uses images and sentiments from Taylored Expression's Wings of Joy set which I bought last Christmas and just love. The stocking images have then been stamped again and raised up with dimensionals. I have added some sparkly fluff to the tops of the gloves and beanies to give a little texture. The background has then been stamped with Baroque Motifs set (Stampin' Up) using Versa Color Sky Grey Ink.
The inside of the card has followed the same theme with a single stocking image from the Wings of Joy set stamped in the corner and coloured with Copics. The edges of the inside layer have been stamped with the flourish from the Baroque Motifs set.
