Say It in Red, White and Blue!

Hello!
I am back with this week's challenge from AnnaBelle Stamps which is to create a card using red, white and blue. What a fab colour combo! I chose to use my Lil Molly's Flowers set which I coloured with Copics and paper pieced her top.

I thought I would try something different and made my square card base from clear cardstock, adhering some red gingham paper on the back of the card front and Bashful Blue cardstock on the front side. I die cut some clouds from white felt and then popped up Molly on dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped in Tuxedo Black ink and die cut with a tag die with some red AnnaBelle stitched ribbon  looped through. The same ribbon was also tied along one side. I took this photo before I decided that Molly needed some simple grass drawn around her feet, which explains why its missing in this photo.

The inside was kept very simple following the same procedure as the card front to adhere the papers.  I cut the sentiment into a banner with a small flower from the Backgrounds By Design 1 set stamped in Real Red ink.
